Alissa Kalczuk

Alissa is the owner of Pilates Of Eastlake and has been teaching Pilates for over 15 years. Alissa has multiple certifications in corrective exercise technique and using Pilates to help students overcome injuries or back pain. She received her Mat certification in 2009, completing over 140 hours of training through Body Precision Studio’s program. Shen continued her education through Balanced Body, receiving her certification as a Comprehensive Certified Pilates Teacher in 2014. Alissa’s passion for Pilates was born out of a personal quest for her own health which quickly turned into a love and appreciation to learn and teach the amazing art of Pilates. Alissa has been teaching both group classes and private sessions since 2010.  

Alissa’s favorite hobbies: a quiet place to have coffee and read; cooking, riding bikes, and hiking.

Alissa’s favorite food: anything with avocado!

Lisa Fowler

Lisa has been an ACE certified fitness instructor since 1998. Since then, she has acquired many more certifications including Les Mills, AEA, LeMond, Reebok cycle, Zumba, AFFA Mat Pilates, Merrithew Pilates, and more.  Lisa has devoted her life to teaching fitness to all ages and levels, everything from Body Pump to Silver Sneakers, and everything in between. She loves helping her students achieve their fitness goals in any setting. However, her real passion is teaching Pilates because it feels great and keeps your attention, not to mention it works every part of your body!

Lisa’s favorite hobbies: entertaining and having parties, shopping with her girls, listening to her husband play guitar, and driving their classic cars.

Lisa’s favorite food: Lobster…. and dark chocolate!

Linda Miller

Linda has been a Certified Fitness Specialist, Group Fitness Instructor, and Personal Trainer since 2013. She has taught multiple formats including Les Mills Body Pump, Keiser Cycling, Barre, Aqua, and Pilates. Linda’s passion for fitness comes from her personal battle in overcoming obesity. She now strives to be the support and encouragement to help others achieve their goals! Her energetic personality and infectious smile will help you push past your limits as you strengthen your body.

Linda’s favorite hobbies: Kayaking, biking, and hiking with my husband and two sons.

Linda’s favorite food: Chocolate covered macadamia nuts.

Adriana Wallace

Adriana is an AFAA Certified Group Fitness Instructor since 2019. She spent her younger years running hills to stay fit in her hometown of Ramona,CA. She danced and performed through her middle and high school years, and continued through college. She has taught Zumba™️, Strong Nation™️TRX™️, Sunrise Yoga, Chair Yoga, HIIT, and Exercise Lite. After one Pilates class she was hooked on the new format. Her passion and understanding of fitness and eating healthy deepened when she discovered her gluten sensitivity and how fitness and nutrition is a lifestyle. Adriana is also a licensed real estate agent. She enjoys helping people achieve their life-long goals in both health and wealth.

Adriana’s favorite hobbies: Dining, shopping, new adventures, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Adriana’s favorite food: Pizza (gluten free).

Shayna DeRuyck

Shayna is a Special Education teacher whose love and passion for teaching has carried over into Pilates. Shayna loves how Pilates helps her unwind, relax, and destress after a long day at work. She also finds that it is the best way to help her mentally and physically conquer each day! Shayna is passionate about sharing sharing the benefits of Pilates with her students, and she enjoys motivating people to reach their goals. Shayna has a natural ability to notice details, and is passionate about helping each student get the most out of every workout.  

Shayna’s favorite hobbies: relaxing by the ocean, and trying new sushi restaurants.

Toni Abaroa

Toni has dedicated her life to the art of dance. Her passion for dance and fitness led her to the U.S., where she developed a special movement program for private school children, and in 2011 she became certified as a Movement Therapist for children with Autism and other special needs. Pilates pairs perfectly with Toni’s dance background, and she loves to inspire her students to enjoy exercise, and get all the  benefits of her Pilates classes. Plus she loves instilling happiness into her students with every class.

”I’m a true believer of divine timing, and that's what happened with Pilates. It came to me at the perfect time, and I fell in love with it right away! I noticed a positive change in my body from the first class, and I love to share the benefits with others!”

Toni’s favorite hobbies: Dance, dance, dance! Especially flamenco. I also love scuba diving and relaxing at the beach. 

Toni’s favorite food: Anything sweet! Cakes, cookies, donuts; you name it! I also love dark chocolate with red wine. 

Adriana Orgaz

Adriana’s Pilates journey started as a student started in 2012 due to health issues (fibromyalgia, knee and back pain.) She started practicing and was able to see the benefits that Pilates can bring to your body and mind. Adriana fell in love with the Pilates Method and now she’s am able to move freely and loves that her mind is more centered and relaxed. During the pandemic, she had to make some life and career changes. Adriana closed her pediatric dental office where she had been practicing since 2002. She started to pursue her new career by joining Balanced Body! She has been fortunate to have wonderful teachers that have taught her how, through Pilates, you can improve your health, strength and concentration. She is so happy to be able to pass that knowledge to her students!

Abby Alexa

Abby is a movement coach and Argentine Tango dancer. She studied at SDSU and acquired a Bachelor's of Science degree. In addition, she has certified education in anatomy, movement, and structural integration. When she discovered biomechanics and pilates, she gained new awareness, opened up new opportunities and expanded her horizons through meaningful connections with herself, to others, and to the world. Moreover, she’s dedicated to continue to learn and grow in her own personal movement journey, as well as continuing to improve as a dancer and movement coach. Abby wants to share her deep passion for movement with others; she believes that you can change your life and thoughts through intentional movement. She hopes to bring more joy and fun through movement to her community (maybe globally some day) with teachings of biomechanics, pilates, and tango.

Abby’s hobbies: moving my body, dancing, reading, cooking! I love learning about skincare and make-up, and doing my skincare routine and doing my make-up :-)
